Linda is educated at the Royal College of Music in piano and conducting and as as a stage director at The Stockholm University of Arts, She worked as a pianist and conductor until 20010 when a deep interest for how words take place in music made her switch into directing opera and musical theatre. After her debut at Folkoperan in 2011 she now directs in opera houses and theatres all over Sweden and Scandinavia. Lately her production of Snösystern based on a book by Maja Lunde at Malmö Opera was named one of the year's best stage performances in GöteborgsPosten and was nominated Best performance of the Year by the Swedish Theatre Critics' Association. She directed her musical version of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet at the Royal Philharmonic and developped it to a film short in 2024, Mitt Verona. She also collaborates with composers and has written several works for the stage, like Om Människan and Liam and the five Challenges - and recently directed her own play Världens Hemligaste Rum at Folkteatern in Gävleborg. She returns to the Folkteatern 2026 with The Threepenny Opera. Linda is a frequent guest teacher and director at the Stockholm University of the Arts and the Academy of Music and Drama the University of Gothenburg.
